BURMESTER AMBIENCE BA 31是延續AMBIENCE系列中的的BA 71的作品，較小的尺寸更能適應各種小空間的聆聽需求。BA 31為2.5音路低音反射孔設計，除了獨立的高、中音外，以中低音負責低音的工作，在喇叭後側具有一個低音反射孔。高音為自家有名的AMT(AIR MOTION TRANSFOMER)氣動式高音，採用超輕的振膜和強力的釹磁鐵(NEODYMIUN DRIVE)。在BA 31的背面有一顆相同的AMT高音可以依照聆聽空間和用家口味做調整，稱為全向發聲效果(Optimal omnidirectional sound distribution)，也可以關閉。中音單體和中低音單體皆為6.5英吋的玻璃纖維紙盆。喇叭靈敏度為87dB，平均阻抗為4歐姆，分頻點位於400Hz以及3000Hz，響應頻率3845.000Hz (±3 dB)，單隻喇叭重量為40.5公斤。

BA 31使用高品質的喇叭連接端子，用家使用大型喇叭線或是香蕉型端子接頭都沒有問題。可以BIWIRING和BIAMP，以不同的擴大機連接不同音路。喇叭箱體內部結構堅固，前面板為鋁合金，可選擇銀色、青銅色、黑色或是個別訂製的顏色，MDF木箱部分可選擇高光漆的標準版，或是選配的黑檀木、深色或淺色的胡桃木。
